- Boxes Are Sturdy, Stack Well, & Are Generally Better than Plastic Bags for Storage
- Plastic Bags Can Trap Humidity & Cause Mildew Damage
- Fill Boxes to Capacity as Half-Empty Boxes Can Collapse or Damage Items in Transport
- Use Specialty Boxes for Items Such as Artwork, Mirrors, Electronics, Lamps, Dishes/Glasses, Mattresses, Sporting Goods, & Musical Equipment
- Consider If Items Will Need to Be Frequently Accessed & Store These Items in the Front of the Unit
- Distribute Weight Evenly in Boxes & Make Sure No Box Is Too Heavy
- Stack Heavier Items on the Bottom & More Fragile Items on Top to Prevent Damage
- Clearly Label Items on More than One Side for Easy Identification & Mark "Fragile" on Boxes Containing Breakable Items
